Epidural Neuroplasty

Epidural Neuroplasty, also known as epidural lysis of adhesions or the “RACZ” procedure, is designed to address scar tissue formation in the spinal canal that can occur after trauma or surgery. This scar tissue can adhere to the nerve roots and increase tension or compression, leading to significant pain. The procedure involves identifying and addressing epidural adhesions. It is typically performed on an outpatient basis under light sedation with the guidance of X-rays.
